Two more for my Full Metal Alchemist team, Lust and Gluttony. I started with Lust making her from a McFarlane Danger Girl Sydney Savage figure. I sculpted her hair and dress, filed down her cheek bones. While working on her I realized that she was not stable on her little feet and her dress prevented me from adjusting her legs. So I decided to make a Gluttony to hold her. I sculpted and cast Gluttony, one of the more ambitious projects I have taken on. I put a magnet in his shoulder so I can remove his arm to put Lust in or take her out. I like how he turned out, of course being a big ball of a character made it easier to do. I am really proud of how his head came out.
During the process I shared my work on my Instagram account and one follower, @amandabushay, pointed out that her eyes were not right. She was dead on, I get so involved that I sometimes miss things that are incredibly obvious to others. She pushed me to do better and I can not thank her enough, because she simply commented on my photo Lust now looks so much better. Check out the work below.
